Command and Conquer Red Alert is a strategy game which is created by Westwood Studios and the most popular wargame all over the world . C&C Red Alert Aftermath and C&C Tiberium Sun are the improved versions of Command & Conquer Covet Operations where the units are technically reconstructed . Some old units , like the Mammoth Tank and Medium Tank still remain . New units like Chronotank and Tesla tank have been created for advanced weaponary systems . Red Alert and Tiberium Sun single - player missions are not so easy without downloading codes , especially the last few missions . You are to chose from 2 unions . The Soviets or the Allied . Generally , the Soviet's weapons are more high - tech , and the armour of the structures and units are much more powerful than the allies . However , the Soviets do not have the GPS Satellite where the Allies have . That is a strong disadvantage . Also , the cost of the structures and units are more expensive than the allied . So manage your Soviet empire carefully . The Allied union is made up of the UK and the US . The Allies have a wider selection of weapons and structures to choose from . It is best to use the Allied when you encounter a sea battle as they have the deadly cruiser and the missle - launching destroyer . The Allies too , have a GPS Satellite which is worth much more than the SPY - Plane . The satellite enables you too see every thing on the Radar Dome . The Allies weapons are not as powerful as the soviet but the cost of everything is much lesser than the Soviet .
